One more post about Bluesky.
I love the lists feature on sites like Facebook and X and Bluesky is no different. I started making lists today and will re-visit some day in the future.
It seems like there are hubs and communities that tend to flow from one corner of the web to another together.
For instance, I’d estimate the 80% of the Boston Celtics I follow have already joined Bluesky with most still posting on both X and Bluesky. I can’t help but wonder whether Massachusetts’ political demo can help explain this. The K.C. Chiefs beat writers can barely be found on Bluesky.
On the other hand, I was surprised that only 5%-10% of the White House / Political reporters that I follow had joined Bluesky. I actually thought that they would’ve been some of the first to make the move.
The migration is definitely a developing story and I’m seeing more sports media join Bluesky. This will be interesting to watch over the coming days and weeks.
